You may or may not find this interesting

Here's a picture of my baseball team at cheney stadium (where the Tacoma Rainiers play) right after we won the state championship. I'm on the bottom row, on the left. We could have gone to Phoenix for the nationals, but we didn't have enough people with the time/money to go. It was still a great year and this was the first year that I had played since high school.

When I was growing up, my family always thought I'd do it for a living. Perhaps not in the major leagues, but at least at a level where I'd get paid for it. At the time, I felt the same way. I was extremely talented relative to the other people that I played with.

As I became more and more interested in computers my interest in baseball waned. I became inflexible and lost a lot of my skill. I stopped playing for a few years, so coming back was hard. I'd be called an 'average' player now. I got better throughout the season, but I've got a long way to go.

Hopefully, I'll get there.
