I've cornered the market on egyptian cotton

I saw A.I. last night with Bill and Nikki. It was very thought provoking. Most people seem to walk out of a theater with a very strong feeling about the movie, but I find that I really can't decide what I think of a film until I think about it for a while. There are exceptions: comedies, or movies that are just really bad (red planet, anyone?).

After some digestion, I was very appreciative of how spielberg tried to break the mold(conflict>resolution>happiness) on this one, as well as the 2001-esque sequences he threw in. I thought they were a good tribute/goodbye to Stanley K.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. We got there 10 minutes late (I forgot to get directions), and had to sit next to some noisy, inconsiderate, immature frat boy assheads. They somehow confused A.I. with scary movie 2, and felt the need to crack jokes about various events in the movie. I swear, if I hadn't been so into the movie during the last 30 minutes, I would have slapped them. I almost did afterwards, but they were so pathetic looking, I would have felt bad.

On a completely unrelated note, I've been cracking RC5 bl0x for team #dxm again. I mention this only to prod evan, at0m, bill, and jlb into doing the same.
